2 lbs polish sausage
3 large onions, sliced
1 15 oz can evaporated milk
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons corn starch
Cut the sausage into bite size pieces and boil in a
covered dutch oven for 15 minutes. Cut the potatoes
into 3/4 inch slices and the onions into 1/2 inch slices.
Add potatoes and onions to the meat in the oven and
just cover with canned milk and water. Cover and
simmer until the potatoes are tender. Mix the corn
starch with 1/2 cup water and stir into the dutch oven.
Continue to simmer, stirring with a wooden spoon until
the mixture thickens to suit the cook. This is good with
lots of course ground black pepper.
